Rebuilding Together is the leading national volunteer organization dedicated to improving the living conditions of low-income home owners. Nationally, we are 200+ affiliates strong and involve over 200,000 volunteers annually.
The Santa Rosa affiliate was founded in 2000 as a nonprofit corporation with 501 c3 status. Since our inception we have rehabilitated over 100 homes and community sites. All of this at no cost to the homeowner or nonprofit organization.
Our projects are financed by generous donations from individuals, corporations, corporate foundations, and service clubs. We receive no city, county, state or federal money to do this work. By using skilled and unskilled volunteer labor and in kind donations, each dollar is quintupled in value.
Our work is done traditionally on the National Rebuilding Together workday, the last Saturday in April. Our 2012 Santa Rosa workday will be April 28. We invite you to join us in making a difference in your community.
